A big hello to all my DA friends, those that still care enough to stop by and check in on me from time to time; as well as those that venture in for the first time.

I hope that everyone is doing well, including their family and friends. I also hope that everyone is creating and growing in their own art forms.

As for me, I'm back to school teaching and enjoying the new students. Hopefully they can sense my sincerest interests in their futures, as well as the earnest joy I have in teaching them.

I'll take some time this month to visit some old DA friends and see what he/she has been up to. I'm excited and anticipating some great art on my visits: ) I'm sure I'll find inspiration while I visiting DA friends. Hopefully it will get me off my butt to do something different and new...LOL.

As my Journal title hints; I've been placing my focus in different areas of art. I'm leaning more towards animation, multimedia and 3D art forms now. However I have a very long way to go in my somewhat newly found interests. The up side to it all is, I have a fairly grounded comfort zone by now with some basic digital 2D art forms, so I should be able to carry some of that over with me. With that said; I'm quite sure it'll be some time before I get the courage to post something new. Most of what I'm doing now is completely awful, because I'm way out of my comfort zone and still quite ignorant to the applications I'm using. I'm also dried up in the creativity department...(Imagine that!)LOL. Hopefully I'll wake up one of these mornings with a creative zest for something new, original and a somewhat comfortable understanding of what I'm try to accomplish from the very start.

Till then, please drop in and leave a message from time to time. I promise that I'll find time in between everything else to drop in on you and view some of what I've been missing.

Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions about the world in which we live. What do personally think about the New Year, and how do you think some of the most important global news stories will turn out? Better yet; what are your hopes for some of the most important issues happening all around us?

Lastly what will you be doing for the holidays. Anything special, wild, or just some good old R & R?

As for myself and my family; we'll most likely go for the R&R, Some good old family cheer, and eat to our hearts content : )...Not that I need to put on anymore weight than I have for the past 5 years..LOL

My Wishes? May the world start heading to a better place by using simple commond sense, patients, respect, good morals / ethics and plain old "live and let live" (so long as it does not effect the quality of life for others). I know that's a bit over the top, since the population tends to grow farther away from the prior as time goes on, but one can always hope: ) Can't they?
